Every November 10, Turkiye remembers Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
In 2025, artificial intelligence, automation, advanced computing, and global technological competition made knowledge more important than ever. In such a world, Ataturk’s emphasis on science and education does not feel distant. It feels practical.
Independence today is not only defended at borders. It is also defended in schools, universities, laboratories, factories, software teams, and research centers. A country that cannot understand or produce technology becomes dependent on decisions made elsewhere.
That is why November 10 in 2025 should lead naturally to questions about education and capability. Are young people being prepared to think deeply? Are institutions supporting knowledge? Are we using technology with judgment, or only following it from behind?
Ataturk’s legacy does not answer these questions for us, but it gives a direction: trust reason, invest in education, and build the confidence to produce.
