Google Introduces the Pixel 11 Generation
Published:
Google unveiled the Pixel 11 family on August 12, 2026. The lineup includes the Pixel 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro XL, and a new Pro Fold, all built around Google’s Tensor G6 processor.
The phones continue Google’s strategy of using custom silicon to support computational photography and on-device AI. The new generation adds camera and video features such as Magic Capture, improved stabilization, and deeper Gemini integration, while the Pro models push zoom and display brightness further.
Tensor is important because Google controls both Android software and important parts of the phone’s processor design. Features can therefore be planned across the NPU, image pipeline, memory system, and operating system rather than added only as downloadable applications after the hardware is finished.
